Bosstown Future: Inspired by Bosstown Dynamics (2019)

When the magnetic poles flipped, human beings didn't fare so well. Their organic shells struggled as the composition of the atmosphere mixed itself up. Even Spot seems to have lost his ability to play fetch due to his compass getting screwy, but there's plenty of time to re-learn. Without Bosstown Dynamics doing experiments every day, what will the robot and his friend do with all their spare time?

Niko Pueringer, Creator | I wanted to explore what the next step in our Bosstown Dynamics series would look like, in a post-human world.

About This Piece | Arguably one of the most iconic video series ever made by Corridor Digital, the Bosstown Dynamics videos touched upon the technological zeitgeist we find ourselves in. Millions of people were convinced our new robot overlords were real (if only for a few moments), including Joe Rogan, who spoke about the video twice on his podcast. Perhaps its a sign that we've teetered over the edge of the singularity, and are now in free-fall towards an unpredictable technological future. In a few more years, we may no longer need VFX to make videos like these. We'll just use the real thing.
