Fauna Collection: Rare Fauna - Glass Glyder by Travis Davids

Part of the Fauna Collection and strictly limited to 3 editions.

The Fauna collection combines both animated artwork and backstory into a single art piece. These are unique collectables of fictional animals that exist in a fictional version of Earth and beyond.

Glass Glyder's are rare aquatic animals found in the surrounding lakes of Vík in Iceland. This cold water fish is actually a giant mutated goldfish. The locals call it "Gler" which means glass in Icelandic because of the reflective and almost translucent appearance of the pelvic, dorsal and caudal fins. It also has a split silver and gold appearance which makes it look unique.
