The Boy with a Kite

// My dearest winds, I have a magical kite. The kind that can illuminate anyone's darkest night.

It is made of constellations, that's what the legends say. I just call upon the stars whenever I want to play.

Then the kite comes to me, in a glowing magic spell, As the thread coils around my fingers until they slightly swell.

I run cheerfully into the night while it ascends to the sky. Blossoms of light flow through me, then I could suddenly fly.

I remember van Gogh's heart, when he painted the starry night. The darkness couldn't keep up with me in the midst of my flight.

This kite scares away all my monsters and ghouls. My nightmares, my demons - this stellar kite befools.

The wind kisses the starry tail as if they're familiar with each other. Since creation, these celestial spirits have been dancing together.

How lucky I am that they accompany me, To the land, to the air, above the waves of the sea.

I could feel the soul of the Earth, between Venus and Mars. The kite grows bigger and takes me to the stars.

And just like that, I open my eyes: I am back to my hometown. With a bright smile I wanna share all around.

Please let me know if you wanna borrow my kite, too. Maybe tomorrow night, let my kite will fly with you. //
