Simpler Times: The Original - Simpler Times

The work that sparked the series. "The Original Simpler Times" dates back to 2017, with the initial concept based around the search for happiness and it's relationship to time. During this period I found myself looking for the core of this emotion and what common threads, if any, spanned across the centuries. This core concept grew to explore the relationship between past, present & future with each series consisting of simplified abstractions of classic sculptures, united under a contemporary theme and placed in futuristic environments. The Original work from Simpler Times focuses on one of mankind's oldest & strongest relationships, centered on a man and his best friend readying to play a simple game of fetch.
