Nebel

Hi there! My name is Gert-jan Akerboom. I am a Dutch Artist Based in Berlin. Here some information about this Artwork…

Nebel means fog in German, A big source of inspiration in my work has always been smoke and fog. I love looking at semi transparent body’s of vapor changing shape in the air. Its also been one of the biggest sources of frustration because it is so hard to translate into an artwork! I think in this piece I captured it pretty well, an endless loop of slowly passing fog over the remnants of an ancient building.
