Finger Bots

Finger Bots roll out!

This loop is part of a series of walking cuboid creatures that were created during production for a short film made for Adult Swim called 'In_Box'.

The creatures were designed to unfold from a cube and their walk cycles were generated dynamically using pivots and springs inside 3D software, rather than animated with keyframes.

So the resulting walk cycles are natural but also a bit clunky and cute.

The design of these particular creatures resemble a blocky hand with two fingers, which they use to drag themselves around!
