Black and White Batik Abstract #1

This limited edition digital artwork is taken from my original batik design on fabric. The textile is ‘painted’ with wax before being dyed with hand painted black dye. The wax resists the ink leaving dramatically contrasting areas of white. The piece features a variety of marks and forms.
