The Weight - Hidden Depths

THE WEIGHT - HIDDEN DEPTHS This was inspired by the classic rock music song “The Weight” by the Band. The weight represents the responsibility of people that are carrying the burden of daily human needs for ourselves and for others. The weight of our earthly existence that we are struggling to bear while trying so desperately to “take the load off”- to set our souls free. Are we sometimes existing in a place between life and death, waiting to face judgement day? We sometimes bear the heavy weight we ourselves create that loads down on our spirit.

This a creation 6 of 7 unique works for the Series 7 Showcase. My theme for each creation is Hidden Depths. Each of the 7 creations is limited to 5 editions.
