Superman and a Giant Pumpkin (1982)

I started drawing when I was 5-years-old and never stopped.

Coloured pencils may have been replaced with a computer, but the DNA of this little Superman drawing can be found in all my art... the excitement of a little kid who just wanted to create.

.....

Created when I was 5-years-old (1982), my earliest known art. Minted on my 44th birthday.

Pencil on the back of a worksheet in Senior Kindergarten. Lundy's Lane Elementary School, Kingston Ontario, Canada.
