Crocodile Tiers

This loop is part of a series of walking cuboid creatures that were created during production for a short film made for Adult Swim called 'In_Box'.

The creatures were designed to unfold from a cube and their walk cycles were generated dynamically using pivots and springs inside 3D software, rather than animated with keyframes.

So the resulting walk cycles are natural but also a bit clunky and cute.

I christened this cheeky chappy the Plank, but I think it also resembles a cubist crocodile.
