A computer science student published a brief story about his personal research on online privacy. There's one bit of fact that has become so evident over these past few years, yet we continuously ignore or maybe even refuse to accept it. True privacy in this post-internet era does not exist. Our profiles in multiple platforms contain personal information that we ourselves put out there. Since the rise of data-driven businesses, our personal information (likes and dislikes) were bought, sold, stolen. We are being watched, whether or not we are doing anything suspicious. Big Brother knows who we are. Big Brother knows which propaganda to advertise to us. But, jokes on "them", because incognito mode exists.
