Mondo Inverso

Mondo Inverso is part of a series of mixed media paintings that I created years ago. The theme of this series is the Etna volcano in Sicily. The volcano is both a curse and a blessing. It brings fertility and destruction. The artwork on which this animation is based contains various materials. Lava rocks from Etna, earth from Sicily, cement, acrylics . On the picture you can see how the multi-armed monster (made of lava) devours the orange trees. In the lower part the ideal world upside down in reddish earth.
