Lowering Expectations

While working up sketches/ideas for my contribution to a H.P.Lovecraft trading card set, I came up with this idea...one of the weirdest Illustrations I've done (and that is saying a lot). I didn't send it in for the set but later finished it in full detail just to see how it would look. It looks weird. I am pleased. The penciling and inking was done by hand, the coloring with photoshop. The original was 11x17 inches. This digital print is 300dpi and 2000x3164 pixels
