B-BOY SEMANTICS is a series of dynamic, digital illustrations created by Juan Doe honoring the art form of breaking or B-Boying, also known as breakdancing to a general audience.

The Crew Breaking is predicated on the battle. The confluence of crews coming together to compete for best rockers of the beat. The crew is the support system, the cheerleaders and the experimenters to create routines that play off of every participants strengths in the dance battle. It is a magnificent choreography of physical expression undulating with the origin of the musical beat.

First appearing as a variant one-off canvas at the Red Bull BC 1 South Korea in 2016, this is the first time this piece has been made available as a digital print.
