It is said that hundreds of years ago in Japan lived a beautiful woman, wife of an equally jealous Samurai. The Samurai was constantly afraid of being betrayed by his wife, whose beauty was recognized by all. So, in a night of anger he rushed over her and tore her mouth from ear to ear. Today Kuchisake-Onna turns with a mask asking the men she meets if they think she is beautiful. After the answer, the woman removes her mask, shows her disfigured face and kills the victim.
