Book Body

I read this novel not too long ago that really turned me inside-out. The characters were cartoonishly rendered and the plot lines were a deliciously messy web of poor choices and brutal consequences. Despite the melodramatic nature of the whole thing (or perhaps because of it), I've never related to anything more.
