The Tubes of Cignii IX

This is a piece I did using the "Decalcomania" technique. It consists of moving, rubbing, taking off, putting back a piece of pvc against the paint and over your medium, it sometimes (and sometimes not) results in rather pleasant alien landscapes which one can interpret and then usually edit for a final effect. The technique is practical to obtain a basis without having to prepare too much of a plan, perfect when one is a bit out of inspiration.

This artwork was made in 2020 with acrylic and thinliner on primed wood. Its original size is around 23 x 23 cm ( 9,05 x 9,05 in ).
