Boreal

Inspired by the majestic deers and elks, and northern lights (also known as aurora borealis), I created this artwork to celebrate the nature of winter.

Northern lights are a sight to behold, often connected to the spirit world. They're a vivid demonstration of the Earth's magnetic field interacting with charged particles from the sun. They're beautiful and magical and I can't help to connect them to the feeling that a majestic elk evokes.

Here they live connected. The elk and the aurora. The spirit world and the physical world.
