Remote Console

The image depicts the use of sensation and consciousness displacement technology which allows a user to project their consciousness into a remote capsule. This works by capturing visual, audio, olfactory and haptic data and relaying it to the human body, through wearable technology.

The piece was inspired by the idea of VR and outer body displacement as a means of travel to cut down on non renewable forms of transportation. It was made further relevant by the current global pandemic which forced me to finally translate the idea
