The true change is that which comes from within and not from without. The Latin poet Horacio relates that one day, emerging from the Aegean Sea, Zeus saw, lying on the beach of the island of Kynaros, a beautiful young woman: Cynara. The great god of Olympus seduced her and took her to the home of the gods, where Cynara wilted immersed in nostalgia for her island and her mother. Finally, she fled Olympus and Zeus, angered by that daring, decided to punish her by making leathery scales wrap her until she became an artichoke. Today it is all over the world, the revenge of heartbreak, surely was harder for this god, than for the rest of the mortals.
