"Destiny - RAREAF"

Basically, in the near future, we run mostly on solar energy. There's a revolutionary technology that allows us to drain energy from the core of the earth. That's a bad idea, we manage to activate a couple of supervolcanos... and we enter a manmade ice age. for many years there is no sun in the sky because of the thick clouds of volcanic dust and gasses. There's a seismic activity never seen before. All the tech that relies on solar power is down. This looks like the end of our civilization, less than a million people managed to survive. Decades later, one of the AI projects created by Simon Peterson survived this cataclysm. This is where the story begins.

This edition of the piece is an unfinished version of a painting that I'm working on at the moment. It has been done specially made for the RAREART2 Festival NY tokenized sticker contest.
