228. (2020) Portrait of Jaime, My Daughter

There’s so much to love about my daughter Jaime. She is strong, tender-hearted, loving- especially towards animals, kind, respectful yet playful, and beautiful. Today she turned 38 years old, but she is forever my baby girl, my “J-Girl.” Layered and complex , she has weathered her share of storms and continues to struggle in some areas of her life — but those are her stories and only her stories to tell. For me, I still look into those eyes filled with child-like wonder and see that smile, and my father-heart surrenders. I am now and will forever be her father and her biggest fan.
