Well, here we are my dear traveller, up in northern flatlands where long-forgotten nomads lived their hidden lives, now leaning under heavy shadows of mining platforms. Rusty, old silhouettes disturb the smooth curves of these lands but I somehow liked this contrast which harmonizes with surrounding cattle, so I painted and painted. I gave the final painting to one of the workers as a gift. He liked it...at least I think he did...
You can really zoom in and explore the piece even further. See some small bits and pieces, micro compositions and interesting little stories.
I had a lot of joy but struggle with solving how to put all the things together, what to accentuate and what to eliminate from all the different options, ideas and go with one unifying tone.
Let the lands sink in... Then I recommend to go out with fresh eyes and wander around the world be curious and playful.
