Taxidermickey

This was done in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro as a tribute/celebration of the passing of the original Mickey Mouse cartoon "Steamboat Willie" into the public domain, which will happen on January 1st, 2024. This piece also addresses the "re" phenomenon, wherein old ideas/characters/stories are "remade" or "reimagined" for the current generation, which is itself a product of copyright law.
