Light And Dark

media: digital painting/drawing 2048x2732px The 100 Day Project Series: Day 30 Stained Glass Reflection From the phrase for today, I thought about the stained glass windows in churches and the beautiful light they cast in the dark area which I tried to capture through the color and high contrast of the piece. I also considered the iconography and ideas surrounding churches as places with death and burial, but also light and life. These ideas also inspired the chosen phrase. This is the sole original digital creation, however this piece may be recreated in physical ephemera.
