media: digital painting/drawing 2048x2732px The 100 Day Project Series: Day 28 X-Rayed Still Life Today I considered traditional still lives with fruit in them. I considered what it would be like to look inside a fruit with an x-ray. From there I discovered people have used MRI machines on fruit which makes beautiful imagery. That imagery of MRI fruits inspired me to draw my own versions of MRI looking fruit. I then anthropomorphized the fruit imagining it to be a conscious being with the phrasing over top to make a whimsical idea of living fruits. This is the sole original digital creation, however recreations of it may possibly be made in physical formats (t-shirts, buttons, stickers, etc.).
