It was hack week at work and I was a new hire. We could do whatever we wanted for a week. Most engineers used that time to code something. I suppose most new hires would do what the majority did. But I decided to go to Marin instead to photograph San Francisco's beloved Karl the Fog for 5 days in a row. My goal was to do my very first time lapse of him. It's pretty rare that he would be there, let alone lying this low so that I could capture the Golden Gate Bridge. I guess Karl's an early bird after all.
