The Dreamer of Everywhere, Everything, Everytime

This is the illustration I've made for "Bring Reading Rainbow Back" Kickstarter campaign calendar contest. The Kickstarter itself was one of the best Kickstarter campaigns to date. My artwork was hand-selected by Mr. LeVar Burton of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Reading Rainbow" fame, to be included in the final product, as the cover for "April" month.

As I approached to create an original illustration for the contest, I tried to stick as much as possible for the specifications, which influenced the squared format. My illustration (and the one from Nidhi Chanani) was personally chosen by Mr. LeVar Burton himself among the 70 or so admitted in the contest and would be printed anyway, despite the results of the contest.

The calendar featured important artists, like Mary Grandpré (Harry Potter), Brett Helquist (Lemony Snickett), Penny Arcade and many other professionals.
