Sand Dollars are Fractal Libraries for Dolphins

When Timothy Wyllie was on PCP he was able to communicate telepathically with dolphins and learned that they use sand dollars to encode ideas by pinging them with sonar, which then keep the in information fractally as they grow, available later to any other dolphins that want to access it. This interview was on the show "Hamilton's Pharmacopeia" and reminds me of how little we still know when bound to this dimension and our limited understanding of the universe, including the communication patterns of other species.
