One really to enjoy digitally;
After testing the, lighter, daytime vibrancy capabilities of this new system of work I’m developing, I wanted to understand how I can create a night-time setting. Of course – I can now take original, day-time photo pixels and apply night-time tones to them with little or no grain – although I like grain so the texture I blended into the colours helped me achieve this grainy texture. Look closely at the details between the colour shades, you can see the ‘shading’ look on the skin but also now with dark greens added to the rocky waterfall; we now have visible ‘moss’, warm purple hues and a cream-orange tints for the highlights; a really dreamy peaceful place, hence the name.
This is really the beginning of something I will be diving deep into 2020, the mixing and merging of digital pixels with 'vectorized' objects to create a completely unique combination of digital 'texture', vibrant colouring and all together a very compelling science fantasy scene.
