The flare of a hundred dewdrops

Early mornings are one of my favourite times of the day. The sun is low and the dew is still hanging from all the foliage around you. In order to catch and exaggerate the beauty of this scene, I used my vintage Russian Helios lens which produces a beautiful lens flare, throwing this image into the abstract while still retaining details that show a dew-covered grassy scene. Each dewdrop refracts the sun into a single flare in the final image.
