Obsidian Legends: Ysala, Queen of the Hunt

Contrary to popular belief, Guardians are not alone in the Black Forest. These sacred lands are also home to ancient and powerful creatures known as Elderbeasts, who are immune to the curse of the Forest. However, many of these magnificent creatures are completely oblivious to their overwhelming power. If left to their own devices, they would freely roam into the Obsidian Grove and become wellsprings of chaos and destruction. Only one seems to understand this, and it's to her the Guardians turned to for assistance. For Ysala is no ordinary Elderbeast - she boasts a sentience that is beyond the mere animalistic cunning of many of her kin. And more importantly, she has an unwavering addiction to the thrill of the hunt. Accompanied by three skeletal wolves, Ysala tirelessly patrols the edge of the Grove, using whatever means necessary to track down and drive her brethren back into the dark Forest. In exchange, the Guardians turn a blind eye to her occasional foray into the Grove to hunt the incredible magical beasts at the heart of the demon and faerie territories. Though if she catches the scent of a kindred soul, another who embodies the hunter's spirit, she will take a moment and beckon them to join her for an exhilarating and dreamlike hunt of a lifetime.
