vide venus denuo: prope mortem

'prope mortem' - means 'death nearby' in latin. Never before I felt it so close, than in last three month of war. Knowing that every moment you can die from a bomb falling from the sky. This feeling paralises you and takes away all good, creative, happy thoughts you may have. But with time you realise that you can't always stay in fear and hide. I feel like I looked it in the eyes, accepted it, and decided to live on, even with death being nearby.

This collection is my personal act of resistance to this inner blocks, manifesting that life goes on and there is still beauty that I can capture and show to others.
