Burial Rites: Wings to swim through

Wing detail of the iconic Australian Blue Winged Kookaburra. The first little soul that opened the door for me to make Burial Rites - My heart work.

This piece reminds me of my connection to the sea and the wild ocean in Arnhem Land where I grew up amongst the mud crabs and crocodiles.
