I created this piece using Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. This time, I wanted to depict a mystical being rising not from the water itself, but from the darkness. The woman, highlighted by her white veil and powerful blue halo, possesses both a sacred and fragile posture. The blue marks on her face are like traces left on her skin by the water and light. The sharp blue halo around her head both illuminates and somewhat isolates her. On the left, there is a fainter, almost melting reflection of hers—like a shadow from the past or a memory fading into the water. The green-orange fluid forms on the right represent a chaotic yet captivating energy where water and fire meet. I specifically kept the color palette in shades of dark blue, turquoise, green, and orange. I created a fluid paint feel using Liquify, Smudge, and thick-textured brushes. Working layer by layer to depict the falling veil, the halo's shimmer, and the heavy expression on her face took quite a long time.
