Toth

In my comic, the Avatar is the ancient Egyptian god, Toth, later known by the Greeks as Hermes and by the Romans as Mercury. In all traditions he was the patron of scribing, music, and wisdom. According to one historian, Toth did not look to man for guidance; instead, he received his knowledge directly from the Divine.

In my story, Toth temporarily awakens from thousands of years of sleep and gives all his knowledge to one man, Stargazer, before moving on to higher worlds.
