Core: The Irrationalist Manifesto #9/99

art
soul
beauty
suffering
revolution

are among sources of deep truth
absent in shallow rational ponds
tended by aspiring petty bureaucrats

tuning the truth
massaging the message
framing the facts
corrupting the curation
adulterating the art

until it is anemic
and the artist is rendered harmless

resist the tyranny of reason
refuse to yield to the co-opters
rage against the chains that bind you

let no one reduce you to a mere rational actor
with naught but scripted roles to play

down with self-aggrandizing gatekeepers
down with rationalizing extractors
down with sanguivorous middlemen
down with convenient pragmatists betraying comrades and histories
down with willful obscurantists trying to induce forgetting

speak
make
resist
and refuse to yield

be wild
be wrong
be madness toppling polished scaffolds
be a witness to inconvenient truths power refuses to speak

be irrational

you have only your chains to lose
