Atmospheric Disturbance: Field of Wonder by Steve K

As a storm chaser it is not always about the chaotic environment that is the thrill. Any type of weather event excites the hell out of me and what get's me out in nature. But there is one weather phenomenon that will always leave me in a sense of wonder.

I was out chasing a bit of early spring weather in September last year (2021) when the sun started to come out and create this insanely vibrant rainbow. I was near a mates crop paddock so I jumped the fence and got in to a good position to get this dreamy scene.

The cloud lowering at the top of the rainbow though was a stand out for me, I haven't seen anything like it before. This is the beauty of chasing the weather, you will always get something different every time.
