Kyle Barden: Catching light

Step into the enchanting realm of central Utah, a boundless playground that beckons with its irresistible allure. Here, a captivating tapestry of nature's artistry unfolds, casting a spell on photographers and adventurers who venture from far and wide. It's easy to get caught up in the grandeur of a behemoth like Factory Butte, but its the more intimate details that I find to be more dynamic.

Catching Light was captured using a telephoto lens while I stood on a plateau overlooking this extraterrestrial landscape. As the wind weaved its ethereal dance through the rugged terrain, a mesmerizing ballet ensued. Dust particles took flight, propelled by the whims of the breeze, gracefully pirouetting amidst the labyrinthine of surreal rock formations that that seem to erupt from the earth. Bathed in the golden hues of sunlight, this mesmerizing interplay of swirling dust casted an ethereal glow, adding a dynamic and breathtaking allure to the scene.
