Lodestar originated as an exploration of digital bass music, inspired by Nitepunk’s sound and energy. Originally developed as a conceptual study for an animated piece, the work explores explosive movement, raw expression, and the impulse to break beyond established patterns through intensity and adrenaline.
The work also translates this energy into the visual language of steel, influenced by my childhood experiences in my grandfather’s workshop and the presence of Art Deco metalwork. It reflects the strength and permanence of forged materials, recreating the feeling of an earthly relic through a fully digital process built from original textures without photographic sources.
