Tropical Reverie draws from memories of traveling through Asia, transforming lived experience into a dreamlike landscape where beauty and unease coexist. Familiar forms dissolve into abstraction, creating an atmosphere in which tranquility is subtly disrupted by an underlying tension that resists clear definition.
As the eighth iteration of Parrot Dance, the work continues an ongoing exploration of the relationship between nature and technology. Rather than opposing these forces, it suggests that the digital and the organic are intertwined, shaping one another within the fluid space of memory and perception.
