Invisible Oceans Founder's Collection: Invisible Oceans #7: Physalia II

Physalia - The Portuguese man-o-war. This image shows both pale sensory tentacles and pink reproductive tentacles, technically called gonozooids. We have seen whole clumps of these reproductive tentacles released when the animal has been roughly sloshed around in a container. We can only assume that the released tentacles then liberate some viable eggs which might yet develop into new Physalia.
