Daydreaming can become addicting. It goes something like this:
You slip into a dream in the middle of the day never again wanting to awake to your boring life. The thoughts and experiences you have are so vivid that you forget where you are. Time slips away. Your surroundings fade. This dream feels so real you can almost touch the creatures you meet. They each have individual personalities and have lives full lives.
Just then, a noise happens from across the room and eventually you snap awake. You realize where you are. Back to reality once again. Back to work. Back to the grind of every-day life... Back to living in a place where magic doesn't exist and nobody can save you. You float through your day just barely alive enough to make it to bed time, forever craving your adventure. You get home from work. Relax in bed. Close your eyes and as you drift away you see yourself picking up your sword once again to do battle.
This is your time. You are the main character.
