Day 4/12: "Popsicle Decora"
Once upon a time there was a young lady on Pastel Island named Ruth who was an aspiring fashionista. She had always been drawn to the Decora fashion movement in Harajuku, Tokyo and dreamed of one day having her work featured in Fruits! streetsnap magazine.
Ruth set out to create a unique and eye-catching look for Fairy Kei style fans that would get her noticed. After much brainstorming, she decided to focus her attention on her beloved popsicle hair clips. She crafted clips in every pastel color that she could think of, but she wanted to take it one step further. Ruth decided to create an impressive popsicle sculpture for a photoshoot with her new accessories. She spent many weeks creating her masterpiece and hoped it would make her shoot stand out.
After the photos were taken near her sculpture, they quickly went viral and her clips were selling like... well... popsicles on a hot summers day. It wasn't long before editors at Fruits! magazine took notice. Ruth was thrilled when she received notice that her hairclips would be featured with credit. Thanks to her thoughtful planning and persistence with a recognizable brand symbol, Ruth made a name for herself in the Decora and Fairy Kei fashion world forever!
