The Butchers: Production of Consent
In the contemporary world, obedience is no longer imposed- it is manufactured.
The media has become a factory whose ultimate product is the human being.
A place where minds are carved, refined, replicated, and sent back into society under the illusion of individuality.
The puppeteer remains hidden behind the spectacle; shaping not reality itself, but the perception of reality. The masses bow not under the pressure of force, but beneath narratives carefully woven into the architecture of their minds.
This is where the herd is produced.
"This piece is inspired by Noam Chomsky's theory of Manufacture of Consent-the idea that in modern societies, power shapes public opinion not through direct force, but through media, repetition, selective narratives, and the normalization of particular worldviews."
