Lagrange Bend #36/175

Lagrange Bend tells the story of a fictional house with 400 rooms on the Ethereum blockchain.

A room is a witness. Its walls record the most intimate and mundane moments in history. It is built, begins new and strong, oversees many lives, and eventually enters decay. Most rooms are temporary. These rooms are permanent.

Lagrange Bend is where I spent my childhood, the name of the street where my grandmother lived. It was the center of the universe for every family member, friend, and friend of a friend. Constant motion. It was the first place I ever saw a ghost.

I would dream that certain spots in the walls would open up secret rooms. The dreams were so real that in the days following I would push on certain points in the wall to see if they would open up. The house held something hidden.

🏠

The house has 5 secrets hidden in space and time. If found, it’s a part of your room forever. Each room has a ghost. You can call upon them. They can also help you find secrets.

Lagrange Bend rooms are agentic, implementing ERC-8048. Each room has personality. You can talk to them, and they talk to each other.

Lagrange Bend by jiwa is a human-agent karmic collaboration exploring themes of authorship, self, AI, and abstract story-telling.
