The Artist's Cut - II: Above the Hudson

"Above the Hudson" was taken in November 2016 in New York City. Close to the Thanksgiving holidays, I had taken a last-minute trip down from Boston to New York to visit a friend and spend the weekend in the city. We both decided to take a doorless helicopter ride across the city together to photograph the city from a different vantage - this being my second time on this ride - and as we flew past the financial district, the helicopter turned just in line giving me a moment to capture this shot of the ever-growing and never-sleeping city that somehow seemed so peaceful.
