The Artist's Cut - II: Port des Champs-Élysées

"Port des Champs-Élysées" was taken in November 2021 in Paris, France. After almost two years of break from international travels as a result of the pandemic, in November of 2021, I took my first trip to France and Switzerland, which included 6 days in the city of Paris. This photograph was taken as I strolled along the Port des Champs-Élysées with my friends as we made our way towards the Eiffel Tower for sunset. As we passed several barges along Seine rive, I stumbled across one with a beautiful white rose arrangement on its dock. Using that as the foreground, it felt perfect to frame this "city of love" and its famous tower between the cool blue skies, the warm autumn glow surrondings and the clean white petals of the roses.
