URBAN AIR: SUBURBIA

In the 1970's the government of Hong Kong decided to develop an experimental housing district right on the edge of the border. What was built was a strange, remote American-style low-rise suburb. The area strikes a strong contrast to the surrounding rice fields and this aerial photograph shows that. Original drone photo taken in 2020.
