SEASONS: Urria

In Euskera (Basque language) the month of October (urria) means "harvest month".

In October the trees show all their color and glory before winter takes away all their leaves. After it rains the leaves absorb all the moisture from the water and this is the time to go and visit the forests, as it is then when the leaves show all their color.
